Plaque Revealed

On friday in the afternoon to mark the people that died when a bomb dropped on my school. On November 1st 1940 at 7:00pm a high explosive bomb dropped on Ricardo Street Elementery School (Lansbury Lawrence Primary School) killing 4 firemen and 1 firewoman. The Lady called Sis Kieth was the survivor of thr explosion and revealed the plaque. Member of Parlement for Tower Hamlets, Jim Fitzpatrick was at the ceremony that afternoon along with the press confrence of the East End Life or the East London Advertiser. Emotions filled the room as a melody of war songs were sung by Year 6 including You Are My Sunshine, Wish me Luck, We'll Meet Again and Bluebirds over the White Cliffs of Dover.
